The Shasta ($6,950) fits a standard treatment room and plugs into a normal 120V/15A outlet — often the deciding factor in leased medical space where circuit work needs landlord approval. Best for gyms & studios: Peak Denali or Matterhorn

The 3-person Denali ($9,750, hemlock) and Matterhorn ($10,750, cedar) each carry two XL red light panels — 216 dual-chip LEDs each — so two members get full-body light coverage per session, on a 240V/20A dedicated circuit. All three outdoor models are rated to 170°F: the Patagonia ($10,750) fits two on 240V/20A, the Kilimanjaro ($13,450) seats five, and the flagship El Capitan ($16,750) seats four with two red light panels — both on 240V/30A. One caveat we'd rather state than bury: the commercial warranty's published terms exclude outdoor and unapproved installations, so for an outdoor unit at a business property, confirm coverage with us in writing before you order. The Mini ($5,950) is the smallest and least expensive cabin in the lineup, runs on 120V/15A, and turns a converted meeting room into a bookable wellness room with no electrician involved. Office usage levels rarely test the duty cycle. Where we're honestly not the answer

Two concessions. If you're a big-box gym or bathhouse expecting 15–20+ people in the heat simultaneously, you need a commercial traditional hot room — a tiled or cedar room built around a commercial-rated stove from a traditional-sauna specialist such as Harvia or Finlandia, engineered for continuous all-day operation. Infrared cabins, ours included, are session-based equipment for 1–5 people at a time. And if you need an FDA-regulated medical device for clinical treatment claims, that's not this category: Peak saunas are wellness products, not medical devices.

Can I use a residential infrared sauna in my business?

Physically yes, but warranty-wise it's a mistake: residential sauna warranties — Peak's included — are written for home use, and business use (clients, members, guests, or employees using the sauna) generally falls outside them. Peak covers commercial installations through the 5-Year Commercial Limited Warranty ($999), registered automatically at purchase: 5 years on heating elements and cabinetry & wood structure, 3 years on controls and power supply, 1 year on lighting, sound, accessories, and WiFi/app, under normal commercial use. For reference, the standard residential coverage every Peak sauna carries is a limited lifetime on structure, wood & heating elements (defined as 7 years residential); 7-year red light panel; lifetime U.S.-based support — written for homes, which is exactly why business use needs its own policy.

Which Peak sauna is best for a commercial facility?

It depends on the vertical: clinics and med spas usually pick the Shasta ($6,950) or Fuji ($8,250) because the 120V models install without an electrician; gyms pick the 3-person Denali ($9,750) or Matterhorn ($10,750) for group bookings and two red light panels; hotels and short-term rentals pick the outdoor Patagonia, Kilimanjaro, or El Capitan (170°F rated); offices pick the Mini ($5,950). How many sessions per day can one sauna cabin handle?

Peak's commercial duty cycle is four hours of continuous use followed by one full hour off. At 30-minute sessions with a few minutes of turnover, a four-hour block yields roughly 7–8 sessions; a facility open 12–14 hours can schedule two to three such blocks per cabin per day with the required rest hours between. Build the booking calendar around the duty cycle from day one.

What do businesses charge for infrared sauna sessions?

Published market pricing puts single 30–45 minute sessions at $25–$60 in most urban wellness studios, reaching $75 in high-demand cities, with infrared drop-ins commonly $30–$50 and studio memberships around $120–$200/month (Altered States Wellness pricing survey). A live example: Lumos Infrared Sauna publishes $41 for a single 30-minute session, $51 for 45 minutes, and unlimited-monthly memberships at $242–$310 (Lumos published pricing, as of August 2026). Do the math against the duty cycle rather than against wishful utilization: one cabin at 7–8 half-hour sessions per four-hour block, priced at the $30–$50 infrared drop-in range, is what a realistic day looks like at full booking — and full booking is the assumption no vendor can guarantee for you. Do I need an electrician, and what circuits do these saunas require?

The 1-person Mini, Shasta, and Rainier run on a standard 120V/15A outlet — no electrician. The 2-person Everest and Fuji need a dedicated 120V/20A circuit. The 3-person Denali and Matterhorn and the outdoor Patagonia need 240V/20A, and the Kilimanjaro and El Capitan need 240V/30A — all 240V circuits installed by a licensed electrician to local code. Get the circuit quoted before you buy; in leased commercial space, add landlord approval time.

Does the commercial warranty cover outdoor installations?

The published terms of the 5-Year Commercial Limited Warranty exclude outdoor and unapproved installations, along with labor and electrician fees, normal wear and cosmetic wood movement, misuse or improper installation, freight on replacement parts after the first 90 days, surge/weather damage, and business-interruption claims. If your plan is an outdoor unit at a business property, confirm coverage with us in writing before you order — we state that here because we'd rather you read the exclusion now than discover it later.

Can a medical clinic offer sauna sessions? Is this a medical device?

Clinics typically run saunas as a cash-pay adjunct wellness service — patients book 30–45 minute sessions before or after treatment, no insurance billing involved. Peak saunas are wellness products, not medical devices: they are not FDA-regulated treatment equipment and shouldn't be marketed with clinical treatment claims. What does delivery and setup look like for a business?

Saunas ship free by freight carrier in protective crates to your curb or loading area — plan a pallet jack or two people to move panels inside. Assembly is clasp-together panel construction, roughly one hour with two adults per our assembly documentation; no contractor required. The real planning item is the electrical circuit — get it quoted before the sauna arrives. If a repair ever requires hands-on work, Peak dispatches a technician to the site — needed on fewer than 1% of orders to date.

Can my business finance a sauna, and does HSA/FSA apply?

Duty cycle: The run-to-rest ratio a sauna is rated for under continuous operation. Peak's commercial terms require one full hour of rest for every four hours of continuous use — the number that sets a facility's daily session capacity.

Full-spectrum infrared: A sauna emitting near, mid, and far infrared rather than far infrared only. Every Peak model pairs this with a separate red light therapy panel delivering 8 wavelengths (630–1060nm).

Irradiance: Light power delivered to a surface, in mW/cm². It falls off with distance, so single numbers mislead — Peak publishes it at three distances: 175 mW/cm² at 6", 107 at 12", 80 at 24".

Commercial warranty: Coverage written for business use — clients, members, guests, or employees using the sauna — which residential warranties generally exclude. Peak's is a $999 5-year commercial limited warranty with published terms, including the duty-cycle operating condition.

We’ve been very pleased with our Fuji Sauna and using it almost daily for about a month now..

• It was shipped in a very solid well packed crate.

• Setup was very easy. Took my 14 year old son and I less than an hour.

• Sauna heats up quickly and the remote start with the app is really useful if you want to pre-heat or schedule it to turn on at a certain time.

• The red light is excellent quality and easy to use.

• Customer service was excellent. We initially had a couple issues. Our shipping was delayed due to the military conflict in the Middle East, and our corner light arrived with a broken bulb, but they compensated us fairly and replaced the broken part right away.

Overall we’d definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for an infrared sauna!

After receiving my Rainier 1 person red cedar sauna I was very impressed with the special care that the Peak Sauna team took to package my sauna to avoid any mishaps during shipping. The wooden crate and the foam material that separated each panel was high quality which I didn’t want to throw away. The step by step instructions were very easy to follow and I had my sauna up and running in a very short time. These saunas are made with quality materials and craftsmanship. Beautiful sauna, arrived in a huge container which we pushed into the garage. Easy to take apart and carry sections (some quite heavy) into my basement. Took us about two hours with two people to assemble. Directions along with a you tube video we found made it pretty easy. Once set up we started it up and were enjoying it that same day. Very happy with it so far!! Highly recommend!

Fuji Sauna Review

We’ve had our Fuji 2 person sauna for a couple of months. From the first call through today the staff of Peak Sauna have been superb! Assembly was just as described, quick (about 1.5 hrs) to open the box and complete the assembly. We use the sauna 1-2 times a day, it is almost addictive. Very Pleased

We are very pleased with our purchase of the Fuji model. I have been using it for two weeks and feel like my sleep quality has already improved. I am so glad I went with the 2 person size as it is big enough for my husband and I without feeling claustrophobic. Plus when it is just me I feel like I can stretch out a bit. We are impressed with the quality of the materials even the sound system is great which I didn’t expect. Greatest Wellness Investment!

We bought our sauna after visiting a spa, listening to several podcasts, lots of research and settled on the Peak Fuji. Absolutely the best wellness investment we have made. Everything else has improved. The only thing: we wish we’d have bought the three person just to have more space and potentially, partially lay down. Aside from that, zero issues. Seamless integration into our lives…

We recently took delivery of our two-person outdoor Patagonia Sauna from Peak Saunas. While getting the unit here took longer than we hoped, it was right inline with what Peak Saunas promised. With assistance from Caleb, in customer service, we were able to easily coordinate delivery around d our busy travel/work schedule which was a huge relief.

Assembly took about 4.5 hours with the assistance of a neighbor, but it was actually kind of fun to assemble and the directions and assembly kit were on point. I did hit a snag with the door handle assembly and Caleb again came to the rescue with detailed “additional instructions “, I ended up modifying the assembly since what was sent appeared to be defective. Peak Saunas is sending a replacement which I hope to receive in a few weeks.

The quality of the unit is top shelf. A friend that owns a two-person Sunlighten sauna was blow away and referred to my Patagonia as a serious upgrade from his sauna.

The only negatives, which are arguably minor are as follows; the ionizer lacks sufficient operating details. I can’t really tell if it’s working or not and it seems a little cheap compared to the rest of the unit. It came with a scent package which I threw out because I had no clue what it was. The Bluetooth connectivity for audio is a little wonky, but we are adjusting and having fewer problems the more we use it. (Switching between users). Even with these minor inconveniences, I still rate Peak Saunas 5.0 for quality, customer service and honestly, the beauty of the unit.

We have seamlessly integrated the sauna into our lives, using it regularly and already noticing the wished for results; less joint pain, stress reduction and sleep improvement.

One more thing: I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the Peak Wellness Club and instructional videos. Peak Saunas leans in on the customer experience, they truly believe in their product and the wellness aspect. Bravo, Austin from Peak Saunas, you have a new evangelist out here singing your praises!

We’ve had the 1 person infrared for a couple weeks now

We’ve had the 1 person infrared for a couple weeks now, so long term unknown. The unit heats up fast and get hot. Only takes 10-15 minutes to get to the 120-140 range but then continues up into 150s/160s, and has even got to 172towards the 45 minutes mark. The heat coverage is very good. So far no complaints, and we are really enjoying the sauna experience.

Wow!!!! This thing is HOT!

Well of course it’s hot but beyond the temperature, it’s a really good looking addition to our backyard. The El Capitan is constructed of top quality components and materials, assembly was easy and Peak is great to deal with. I’ve had no problems but when I’ve had questions they are very responsive. The only regret I have is not buying it sooner!

Loving my Shasta 1-person sauna in CO!

Love my Shasta

I love my Shasta sauna! I’m using it often. I love to listen to music in my sauna. I like to light up my sauna in different colors. I like the option of using the infrared or the red light therapy panel or both at one time. I’m happy I chose Peak. I had questions prior to ordering, I left a message and Danielle called me back and answered all of my questions. Price wasn't a consideration. The people, product and value are what matter to me. We finally got the sauna built in. I have to say, its awesome. I haven't been able to sit in one place for 20 minutes since i was a child. Throwing on some meditation or chill music, the time flies by. Its not even something "I have to do."
