What the research actually shows
Regular sauna bathing is one of the most-studied longevity habits in the world. The strongest evidence comes from a 20-year Finnish cohort study that followed 2,315 middle-aged men and compared those who bathed 4–7 times a week against once-a-week users.
- Longevity. 40% lower all-cause mortality among the most frequent users (Laukkanen et al., JAMA Internal Medicine, 2015).
- Cardiovascular. 50% lower fatal cardiovascular disease in the same group (same study); a later analysis also linked frequent sauna use to lower incidence of hypertension (American Journal of Hypertension, 2017).
- Brain health. 65% lower rate of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia among the most frequent users (Age and Ageing, 2017).
- Recovery and relaxation. Heat exposure raises circulation and is widely used for post-exercise recovery, muscle relaxation, and winding down at the end of a day.
Two things worth knowing about this research. It studied sauna bathing generally — largely traditional Finnish saunas — so it is evidence about the habit, not about any one brand. And the benefits tracked with frequency: 4–7 sessions a week, not the occasional visit. Consistency at that level is difficult to buy by the session, which is the practical case for owning one.

I have had my new sauna for almost 3 weeks now, using it most days (and sometimes twice a day - once to help wake up at a higher heat, shorter time, at night with a lower temp and longer time). It has been amazing. I’ve been using a sauna at a med spa for a year now but only had the chance to get there twice per week previously. I almost bought the same sauna brand they use but I am so glad I didn’t. My Peak Sauna gets so much hotter than theirs and I can feel it easily. It doesn’t take up a lot of room and heats up relatively quickly, and gets hot (much hotter than the stated temperatures). It was easy to put together but the instructions were incorrect and not complete in a couple of areas (I had to call and speak with someone but that was super easy). Other than that, my husband and I put it together in about two hours, even with having to call to figure it out. The longest part was unboxing everything. Very happy with my purchase. It took months of research to finally make a decision and I am very happy with it.

We were able to try a couple of other brands to figure out if a dry sauna was for us, after looking at all the other brands, we liked the warranty for starters, the size of the 2 person was plenty big enough, being 6ft, i can stand inside not hunched over. The heat is fantastic, and the red light therapy panel takes it to a new level. Another aspect was the standard 120v 20amp outlet makes it all work, and wifi let's you get it pre warmed up

I love everything about my Peak Everest sauna. I'm someone who pays close attention to details, and the build quality is exceptional. I've only owned it for a couple of months, but I already use it three to four times a week.
I started with 20–25 minute sessions at 125°F while using the built-in red light therapy, and it produces a great sweat. One tip: I recommend using dark protective glasses with the red light. I ended up buying an even darker pair on Amazon, and they've worked well for me.
Overall, I think it's an excellent value. One of the features I appreciate most is that it runs on a standard 120V outlet, so there was no need for special electrical work.

We’ve been very pleased with our Fuji Sauna and using it almost daily for about a month now..
• It was shipped in a very solid well packed crate.
• Setup was very easy. Took my 14 year old son and I less than an hour.
• Sauna heats up quickly and the remote start with the app is really useful if you want to pre-heat or schedule it to turn on at a certain time.
• The red light is excellent quality and easy to use.
• Customer service was excellent. We initially had a couple issues. Our shipping was delayed due to the military conflict in the Middle East, and our corner light arrived with a broken bulb, but they compensated us fairly and replaced the broken part right away.
Overall we’d definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for an infrared sauna!

After receiving my Rainier 1 person red cedar sauna I was very impressed with the special care that the Peak Sauna team took to package my sauna to avoid any mishaps during shipping. The wooden crate and the foam material that separated each panel was high quality which I didn’t want to throw away. The step by step instructions were very easy to follow and I had my sauna up and running in a very short time. These saunas are made with quality materials and craftsmanship. Beautiful sauna, arrived in a huge container which we pushed into the garage. Easy to take apart and carry sections (some quite heavy) into my basement. Took us about two hours with two people to assemble. Directions along with a you tube video we found made it pretty easy. Once set up we started it up and were enjoying it that same day. We are very pleased with our purchase of the Fuji model. I have been using it for two weeks and feel like my sleep quality has already improved. I am so glad I went with the 2 person size as it is big enough for my husband and I without feeling claustrophobic. Plus when it is just me I feel like I can stretch out a bit. We bought our sauna after visiting a spa, listening to several podcasts, lots of research and settled on the Peak Fuji. Absolutely the best wellness investment we have made. Everything else has improved. The only thing: we wish we’d have bought the three person just to have more space and potentially, partially lay down. Aside from that, zero issues. It is so easy to use as I turn the sauna on remotely using my smart phone and by the time I change clothes and jump into the sauna is up to temperature.
All the literature on the website describing the sauna is spot on. I even talked to a peak representative prior to ordering and she was very friendly and helpful.
The drivers delivered the crated sauna into my garage and me and my son assembled it in the garage and I was using that night.

After a lot of comparison shopping, we decided to go with Peak Saunas for our in-home sauna purchase. Love this thing! It's really helped my wife and I evening routine. No tv; just a sauna/red light session, shower, and bed. The only pain was figuring out how many outlets were branching from our 20 amp breaker and move the sauna to that specific outlet and cap off the others. Other than that, we got it done! Now, the plunge is on the other side of the garage for mornings, sauna on the opposite side for evenings. We're slowly getting the 'wellness' space together. Thanks Peak Saunas!

I've been using my Peak Fugi Sauna for a couple months now and the experience and results have been excellent. I'm retired and very active mainly with regular pickleball play and even with a stretching routine every day, was experiencing typical aches and pains. I decided to investigate if an infrared sauna would be beneficial and which one offered the best value.
I didn't know much about the infrared sauna, so I developed a typical buyer compare matrix with the different sauna companies. I learned about and evaluated the various compare items (FIR-MIR-NIR source and wavelength, emissivity, red light therapy, wood type, warranty, service, price, delivery, etc. and the Peak product came out ahead mainly on the price-value equation where the technical features were comparable to higher price alternatives. I concluded that other higher price alternatives had higher marketing-sales commission costs but no noticeable technical advantages.
I worked with Peak customer support personnel throughout the process and found them all to be responsive, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. I live on a private road and had to use a tractor to get the sauna crate from the shipping truck onto the tractor and transport it 1/2 mile down the private road. Peak Customer Support Personnel (Rebecca, Molly, and Danielle) explained how I needed to safely transport it to my house. When I assembled the sauna on Saturday, I had some labeling questions, and I was pleased to get responsive answers and phone calls on the weekend to help me.
I have a routine now with my sauna use frequency, temperature, and duration time, and have noticed the aches and pains are less intense compared to before I bought the Fugi Sauna. I would highly recommend anyone considering an infrared sauna to give Peak Saunas their close consideration.

So first off I want to say the sauna I received is amazing. It is definitely a two person job in assembly took me about an hour to put together. The instructions are not the best but if you like pictures you can pretty much figure it out haha.
The red light therapy does kick off every few minutes which is a little annoying you have to turn it off then back on to use it but other than that it heats up and the Bluetooth works great and I’m always drenched coming out of there. So that’s why I rated it as 4 stars and not 5 because of the red light therapy. But overall great product and highly recommend!

Have I ever used an infrared sauna before I purchased this? No. But someone told me I needed one and this is the one I researched, landed on, and FELL IN LOVE WITH!
First off, the cedar smell. Oh. My. Word. The minute you start unboxing, your room smells like a luxury spa. Honestly, it makes setup fun because you’re basically getting aromatherapy while you work.
Then you get it put together and think, “Holy sauna, this thing is huge.” But you quickly get over it because that giant space? Yeah—that’s YOUR new zen zone. PLENTY of room for me and the hubby.
Now, the red light panel. I’ll be real, my country-boy husband took one look at it and said, “What in the world is that big ol’ red light for?” Fast forward 24 hours and he’s barging in like, “Babe, move over, I need my red "lightning" session—this thing is actually helping that weird skin thing!” (He’s now a believer, SO am I ha.)
For me, it’s all about the peace. I preheat it from my phone while wrangling kids at bath time, then sneak in with my Kindle, some spa music, and sweat like crazy while no one bothers me. That’s 45 minutes of pure bliss—and yes, the cedar smell still makes me stupidly happy every time.
Oh, and the recovery? Unreal. After a heavy lift day, I feel way less wrecked and I sleep like a baby. Honestly, if I knew it would be this good, I’d have bought three.
So yeah—do it. Full send. Zero regrets. Believe the hype, believe the science, and prepare to be the person who casually says, “Sorry, can’t talk, I’m red-lighting.” 😂

I am going on week four with my sauna! It has been everything I wanted, plus some. Customer service has also been incredible to work with. This sauna is definitely above and beyond. Thank you for all your help and meeting expectations.

Just received my new Fugi two person sauna from Peak Saunas. It looks better in person and very easy to install. I looked at many other saunas but so glad I choose this one from Peak. Such a great sauna and unbelievable customer service. I had a few questions and every time they got back to me right away and were very polite. Can’t wait to use it. I owned a business for 40 years and that is how I treated my customers. Now it seems it is a surprise when you get good service but not with Peak

It took my husband and about four hours to put the sauna together. It was straight forward. It just took a little time. So far we love everything about it.
