1-Person: Mini vs Shasta vs Rainier
The Mini ($5,450) is the space-saver — a 31″ × 32″ footprint and 67″ height that fits in closets, apartments, and low-ceiling basements. The Shasta ($6,950) steps up to a full-height 75″ cabin with an XL red light panel and more elbow room at 42″ × 40″. The Rainier ($7,250) is the same cabin as the Shasta in aromatic Canadian red cedar — identical size, heat, and therapy, different wood.
2-Person: Crown vs Everest vs Fuji
The Crown ($4,950) is the value pick — a two-person Canadian hemlock cabin (48″ wide, 44″ deep, 79″ tall) with full-spectrum heat and a ceiling-mounted medical-grade red light panel. It plugs into a standard 120V/15A wall outlet, so no electrician is needed. The Everest ($7,850) and Fuji ($7,950) are the same step-up two-person cabin — 53″ wide, 44″ deep, full-spectrum heat, full-body red light. The only difference between them is wood: Everest is natural hemlock (clean, light, neutral scent), Fuji is Canadian red cedar (aromatic and naturally moisture-resistant). If you want the cedar-scented sauna experience, the Fuji is $100 more.
3-Person: Denali vs Matterhorn
The three-person cabins are the only indoor models with two XL medical-grade red light panels, so two people can get full-body red light at the same time. The Denali ($9,750) is hemlock; the Matterhorn ($10,750) is the red cedar version of the same 61″-wide cabin.
Outdoor: Patagonia vs El Capitan vs Kilimanjaro
All three outdoor models are weatherproof cabins that run hotter than the indoor line — up to 170°F — with 83″ standing height. The Patagonia ($10,750) is the two-person backyard cabin. The Kilimanjaro ($13,450) seats five in a 59″ × 59″ square layout. The El Capitan ($16,750) is the outdoor flagship: four seats across an 81″-wide panorama cabin.
Hemlock or red cedar?
Three of our indoor cabins come in both woods: Shasta/Rainier (1-person), Everest/Fuji (2-person), and Denali/Matterhorn (3-person). The cabins are otherwise identical — same dimensions, same heaters, same red light therapy, same controls. Hemlock is a premium natural wood with a light color and neutral scent. Canadian red cedar adds the classic aromatic sauna scent and natural moisture resistance, for a $100–$1,000 premium depending on cabin size. Neither is “better” — it’s scent and look.
Frequently asked questions
Which Peak sauna is best for most people?
The 2-person Everest ($7,850) and Fuji ($7,950) are our most popular size — roomy for one, comfortable for two, and the 53″ × 44″ footprint still fits most spare rooms and garages. If budget leads, the 2-person Crown ($4,950) is the most affordable way in, and it runs on a standard 120V/15A outlet.
How much space do I need?
The Mini needs just a 31″ × 32″ patch of floor and clears 67″ — it fits almost anywhere indoors. Full-height indoor models are 75″–79″ tall, so allow a standard 8-foot ceiling. Outdoor cabins stand 83″.
Do I need special wiring?
See each product page for electrical requirements — our 1-person models plug into a standard household outlet, and larger models list their amperage requirements on the product page.
What if I want it outside?
Only the Patagonia, El Capitan, and Kilimanjaro are built for outdoor use — weatherproof construction and higher 170°F max temperature. Indoor models should stay indoors (a covered porch is not enough).
